Upper School Photography Students Recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Six Ravenscroft Upper School students were recently recognized for their talent in photography by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
The students honored this year have distinguished themselves among thousands of regional entries. In addition to their awards, all Silver Key works were eligible for inclusion in a regional exhibition hosted by the East Carolina University School of Art and Design. The exhibition took place at the Jenkins Fine Art Center’s Gray Gallery on Saturday, Feb. 21, providing our students with the professional experience of having their work displayed in a collegiate gallery setting.
Congratulations to these students, whose award-winning work was judged by leading artists, photographers, designers, and educators for originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice.
