Wayne Art Center was happy to announce the 2025 Student Works Exhibition on display in the Davenport and Vidinghoff Galleries from July 14 through August 16, 2025.
This year’s annual exhibition featured 302 impressive works created by adult students who were enrolled in Wayne Art Center’s classes and workshops during the 2024-2025 school year.
A public reception and awards presentation was held on Thursday, July 24.
Many works were on exhibit and available for purchase.
This year’s exhibition featured drawings, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, jewelry, stained glass, works on paper, photography and mixed media.
Christine Clay served as Juror of Awards for 2025 Student Works. Clay is an artist, illustrator and art educator. Currently a painting and drawing instructor at Villanova University, Clay has taught at numerous schools, centers and institutions while simultaneously creating and exhibiting her own work.

Grant announced for youth art program
Wayne Art Center is thrilled to announce that a $25,000 grant was recently awarded by the Genesis Inspiration Foundation.
This generous gift will support Wayne Art Center’s Youth Arts Educational Program.
From its humble beginnings in a carriage house at the height of the Great Depression to its state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot contemporary arts center, Wayne Art Center has been continuously serving the cultural needs of our community for the past 94 years.
At the core of Wayne Art Center’s mission is its commitment to bringing the arts to all members of our diverse community regardless of age, ability, or financial means. Withfunding from The Genesis Inspiration Foundation, we will be able to provide scholarships to families whose children might not otherwise be able to benefit from Wayne Art Center’s exceptional art programs, as well as provide enriching learning opportunities for teens through paid internships throughout the year.
