The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council is hosting a Three Woman Show in September.
The exhibit will feature the works of Nancy Pierce, Janet Wells and Marsha Skinner, according to a community announcement.
The show will be on display at The Arts Garage, 317 W. Perry St., from Sept. 4-28.
Pierce, a lifelong artist, has a studio at The Arts Garage. She has explored various mediums, including watercolors and painting with dyes on silk fabric.
Nancy Pierce, a TAG studio artist, uses watercolors, dyes on silk fabrics, and other experimental materials and methods in her work.
Wells, an art educator for 30 years, has earned degrees from Bowling Green State University and Kent State University. She has studied under pastel artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Asheville, North Carolina. Her artwork has won awards in plein air painting competitions and is featured in collections nationwide.

Skinner, a local artist, grew up on the shores of Lake Erie. She began studying art at age 11 and developed a passion for oil painting. Her work is inspired by local landmarks, wildlife and scenery along the Lake Erie coastline.
Marsha Skinner works in oils and strives to capture accurate details, textures and lighting of her subjects.
A reception to celebrate the artists will take place 6-8 p.m. Sept. 5 at The Arts Garage.
In addition to the exhibit, The Arts Garage offers classes for children and adults. Children who live in Ottawa County can take classes at no cost but must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is available at gpcaac.org.
The Arts Garage is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.
