The exhibition’s title, “Meraki,” is a Greek word that loosely translates to “pouring one’s soul into the work that one does, leaving a piece of yourself in the work,” as Chambers puts it.

In many of the works on display, the artist’s subjects are at leisure — reading a book or flying a kite. Chambers sees these activities as a way of “replenishing one’s interiority,” he says.
