Rising 13-year old pop singer VEDA has shared with her fans a new single, entitled “I Breakdown”, after debuting with the track “Wannabe Me” in August.

While the debut single focused on themes of acceptance and not chasing popularity, “I Breakdown” shows itself as a more vulnerable pop track about the importance of seeking emotional support.

It’s now available as video and single on digital streaming platforms via Judge & Jury Records, the label founded by producer Howard Benson and Three Days Grace’s Neil Sanderson.

VEDA stated about her new song:

I Breakdown” is one of my favorite songs that I’ve done. It’s about someone going through changes and not coping well with them. Wanting something more or a guiding hand. Sometimes we hold things in for too long and forget that it’s ok to express who we are through our feelings.

At just 13 years old, VEDA found TikTok fame through duets with her dad, Saliva frontman Bobby Amaru, and is now parlaying that viral success into a solo career. Gaining over 2M followers and catching the eye of bands like Linkin Park and 30 Seconds To Mars, who invited her to cover their songs. Inspired by this success, she ventured into writing her own music aiming to express her own emotions.
