Seven Utah-based visual artists have been selected to dream up their own life-size snow globes for the Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA) “Winter Wonderland” Snow Globe Art Stroll that kicks off on Main Street beginning Wednesday, Nov. 26.
“Congratulations to this year’s featured artists whose creative visions will bring our Snow Globe Art Stroll to life this holiday season,” said Ginger Wicks, Historic Park City Alliance executive director. “We look forward to welcoming the community to take in every magical, larger-than-life detail intricately laced into each and every Snow Globe.”
A gifted group of Utah-based artists submitted their design concepts earlier this month, and the Arts Council and HPCA chose the following individuals to be part of this year’s Snow Globe Art Stroll:
- Angie Smith
- Anna Leigh Moore
- Elle Donovan
- Goksu Cinar
- Libby Perterkort
- Paige Novak
- Rebecca Pletsch
This year’s theme for the Snow Globe Art Stroll is “Winter Wonderland,” tasking artists with capturing the spirit of the season with their own brand of inspired creativity.
Each of the seven snow globes will feature a hidden silver snowflake inside for guests to find, along with a QR code display with access to artist information and a full map of the snow globe locations.
The Snow Globe Art Stroll will be on display through the holiday season from Nov. 26 through Jan. 5.
The Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA) is dedicated to promoting Park City’s Main Street and surrounding area as a viable, vital and dynamic place to live, work and play while also encouraging business development and enhancing activities that benefit the district.
