About a month before the debut of their newest show, “Ember Glow,” members of DanceAspen showed off select pieces of the act to a small crowd on Thursday atop the Aspen Art Museum.
Featuring guest choreographers Gabrielle Lamb and Noelle Kayser, as well as new work from DanceAspen’s own Kaya Wolsey and Matthew Gilmore, Ember Glow “promises to be a captivating fusion of innovation and artistry,” according to the DanceAspen website.
In a special highlight, Gilmore’s piece, commissioned by the Wheeler Opera House, offers an ode to the venue’s rich history, capturing the spirit of this iconic Aspen landmark, the website reads.
Ember Glow will take the stage Feb. 15 and 16 at the Wheeler Opera House.
