Street artist Banksy confirms latest artwork in West London
Street artist Banksy confirmed his latest artwork on his Instagram page showing a goat balancing on a small platform as rocks tumble to the ground.
World famous street artist Banksy confirmed his latest work in an Instagram post on Monday.
The work depicts a goat painted on a ledge as rocks fall beneath its feet. It’s painted on the side of a building in the Kew neighborhood of west London.
The Instagram post shows a functioning security camera facing the goat though it has since been turned, according to the BBC.
The anonymous and elusive street artist and political activist did not write a caption on the Instagram post, leaving the work up to interpretation.
Local residents told the BBC that they were happy to have the piece in the neighborhood.
“I think it’s incredible − we hope it stays here,” Malcom Taylor told the British broadcaster.
