AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Amarillo Museum of Art will host an opening reception for its photography exhibition currently on display.
The museum says “Shades of Compassion” features the work of 41 international photographers with the goal to promote compassion.
The exhibition includes 50 photos that organized into three categories: environment, humanity and spirituality.
The exhibition is on display at the museum, 2200 S. Van Buren St., from now until Dec. 29.
The museum will also host an opening reception for the exhibition Sept. 6.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. A gallery talk will follow at 7:15 p.m.
Admission to the reception is free for AMoA members and $15 for non-members.
