Galeria Moderna, the new avant-garde pop-up art gallery located on the first floor of the Grand Arcade in Cambridge, is showcasing an eclectic array of award-winning art pieces during its five-week residency.
In a new addition to the exhibition, J Leone of Galeria Moderna has invited artist Lisa Zaman to a live drawing in the gallery this Saturday (August 5), from 11.30-3.30pm.
Lisa, an East Anglia native, won the 2022 Cambridge Invitational prize for her portraiture. Her ability to capture the essence of her subjects goes beyond mere representation, inviting empathy and understanding.
Since winning her award, Lisa has exhibited in New York and received a second award for her art from games company Ubisoft.
With some pieces already sold and many still available, Galeria Moderna emphasises its artist-led pricing, simultaneously introducing an innovative online hub featuring in-depth artist interviews.
