Look back on the winners, highlights, and heritage of the 2024 Art of the Cowgirl annual event.

The Art of the Cowgirl kicked off in Queen Creek, Arizona, on January 17, 2024. Tammy Pate, the event’s founder, was honored posthumously. The event aims to connect Western women through horses, art, and competitions, while also raising funds to support emerging artists.

Lee Smith is a gifted horsewoman who conducts hundreds of clinics and demonstrations of what she believes to be the “Essential Elements of Horsemanship.” She teaches her students how to learn from the horse.
