A journey through art and identity

The contemporary art exhibition “Wanderlust / All Passports’”opens a portal to exploration, both internal and external, in the heart of Athens, at the architectural marvel of the Schliemann-Mela Mansion at 46 Panepistimiou Street. Organized by the nonprofit urban entity Artefact Athens, and supported by THEON International PLC, the show is a meditation on the transformative power of travel. Curated by Kostas Prapoglou, ‘Wanderlust’ gathers 44 artists from Greece and abroad, whose works – installations, video, sculpture and painting – invite viewers into a dialogue between past, present and future. The exhibition examines travel as a means of self-discovery, an existential quest that awakens emotional and intellectual curiosity. Visitors are encouraged to reflect on their own paths, while engaging with art that spans borders and identities. In a city rich in history yet constantly evolving, the exhibition frames travel not merely as movement, but as a way to uncover deeper truths about who we are. The exhibition will run through November 17. [Giorgos Vitsaras/AMNA]
