THE DIANA ARMFIELD RA NEAC PRIZE FOR DRAWING FROM OBSERVATION.

THE PRIZE IS AWARDED IN MEMORY OF HER HUSBAND, BERNARD DUNSTAN RA.

“All professionals, amateurs and even those who say ‘I can’t draw a line’ are welcome to submit their drawings!” DIANA ARMFIELD RA NEAC

The drawing must be in monochrome, in pen, pencil, ink or charcoal.

Each drawing must measure no more than 508 x 406mm (20″ x 16″).

All entries must be drawings from observation without the use of photographs. Entrants will be required to sign a statement to that effect.

Maximum of three drawings per person.

NARROW mounts are permitted but not necessary. Each drawing and mount, if used, should have a thin cardboard backing sheet and be covered in clear plastic as if it would go in a browser.

Please put a label on the back with your surname, title & price if you would like to sell it.

Framed work not accepted, nor work on canvas. All entrants must be 16 years or over.

A panel of judges will select the finalists. Diana Armfield RA NEAC will select the winner herself.

Deadline for entries is Saturday 10th February.

All drawings must be brought to ETNA – Arts Richmond, Room 21, 13 Rosslyn Road, Twickenham,  TW1 2AR between 3rd – 10th February, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

An exhibition will be held at Patch Twickenham, 42 York Street, TW1 3BW, from 4th – 17th March 2024.
