Have you ever fancied trying your hand at life drawing? Attenborough Arts Centre are offering different life drawing classes, from guided lessons to independent drawing.

A cost-effective option, and suitable for beginners to experts, independent life drawing is just that – they provide the studio, the model and the easel, you just need to bring your drawing utensils and imagination.

Classes run weekly and you can book in week by week, when it suits you, to practice your life drawing in a supportive environment..

There may be no formal tutor in these sessions, but with support and ideas from other group members you will pick up new skills and techniques, through quick sketches and longer poses.

Jeremy Webster, Deputy Director of Attenborough Arts Centre, usually attends the sessions to set the poses. He has practised art for over 30 years and his passion for drawing and painting is contagious!

Classes cost £12 per week and participants must be aged 18+.

Classes run on Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 8pm throughout the autumn. You can book your place via the Attenborough Arts Centre website.
