DENVER (KDVR) — Chalk.
It can be a child’s first introduction to art, parents have to tell their kids not to eat it and its fragile beauty can be washed away in the rain in an instant.
How Robert Redford’s legacy will impact Colorado for years to come
Like all art forms, chalk art has continued to evolve over the ages — what used to be cattywampus letters, flowers and suns has been taken to the next level.

Over 5,000 people who attended the event judged nearly 100 different chalk art pieces and chose their top three per category.
