A Kilmarnock Fair Festival has been organised to kick off the summer holidays this weekend.
Back-to-back events will take place in the town on Saturday, June 29 with entertainment at the heart of the showcase.
The Howard Park will host a Taylor Swift tribute act – Totally Taylor – along with free fairground rides, stalls, food, drink and other entertainment between 1pm and 5pm.
Evening entertainment switches to the town centre from 5pm, hosted by Go Radio’s Gina McKie.
Celtic rock outfit Skerryvore will headline the evening event with performances from local musical acts, including Nashville-based singer-songwriter Sean C Kennedy.
The curtain will be brought down on the event with a high energy DJ set at 10pm.
The event is being organised by We Make Kilmarnock.
A spokesperson for the group said: “If you would like to have a stall, get involved, volunteer to support on the day, please get in touch with Keri.Lockhart-Thomson@east-ayrshire.gov.uk or Kelly.morris@centretagemt.org.uk.”
