BOOM! Studios has released a first-look preview of the upcoming Lawful #1. Award-winning author Greg Pak penned the brand-new fantasy series.
Per AIPT, the Lawful #1 first look features the main cover drawn by Qistina Khalidah (Power Rangers) and variant cover art by Miguel Mercado (House of Slaughter) and Erica Henderson (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl). The preview showcases the interior pages designed by acclaimed artist Diego Galindo (Stranger Things: The Voyage, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), with color by Irma Kniivila (Ronin Island). Lawful series scribe Pak has an extensive resume, which includes several DC and Marvel Comics titles, such as Batman/Superman, Teen Titans, Planet Hulk, and X-Men.

BOOM! Studios recently announced the final issue of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Darkest Hour #1, with the upcoming eight-year comic book saga’s last installment arriving in July. The publisher’s description of the issue reads, “It all ends here! With the Morphin Grid in peril, the people of Earth are left without the Power Rangers to protect them. The ultimate battle against Dark Specter will play out with unexpected consequences, while an unlikely group of rogues, villains, and Rangers make strange company. Darkest Hour #1 writer Melissa Flores discussed bringing the Power Rangers series to a close, “After nearly two years, the Darkest Hour comes to a close. This event has been one of the biggest tasks of my career, but I’ve enjoyed every single, heart-wrenching minute,” she said. “Although I put our poor Rangers through the wringer, I hope the ending is as satisfying for the reader as it was for me to write it,” Flores added.
BOOM! Studios‘ Lawful #1 will arrive in comic book shops on June 12, 2024.
