Scooter Braun has finally decided to step down as an artist manager who handles several world singers. He chose to continue his journey in the music industry as CEO of HYBE America.

Through his Instagram account, Braun tried to summarize his journey as an artist manager since he was 19 years old. Some of the names he has handled include Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, Kanye West, and many more.

“And after 23 years, the journey as a music manager has ended,” Scooter Braun wrote via Instagram upload, Tuesday, June 18.

Braun said it took him two years until he finally decided to withdraw from his job. He saw a new job as CEO of HYBE America as God’s plan.

Meanwhile, the decision to accept a position at HYBE America was due to his belief in the vision brought by Bang Si Hyuk. He felt that the person he called a friend really understood what he wanted.

“In the next chapter I have the honor of joining the Hybe council and serving as CEO of Hybe America,” Braun said.

My brilliant colleague for the last three years, Chairman Bang, has a vision that I truly believe in. But more than that, he has become a true friend who understands where I have to be in my life right now,” he continued.

However, Braun promised that he would not really leave the artist he left behind. He is still willing to support them.

“I love those who have worked with me for years, and when we develop different work relationships, I will always be by their side to consult and support them both directly and remotely,” he said.

At the end of his statement, Braun reiterated his belief that what is happening to him now is the path from God.

“I never saw how this would end. Unfortunately, I never even saw it happen. But it worked. And I would appreciate it every moment. I’ve made a plan, but it turns out I prefer God’s plan.”
