This Thursday, September 19, take part in a unique performance with artist Christian Falsnaes at the opening of his “MOI” exhibition at 7:30pm, followed by a cocktail reception and NOVA soundsystem DJ set at 9pm. Registration is free!

Who defines who we are as individuals and shapes our perception of ourselves and our place in the world? This is the central question of theexhibition MOI. Christian Falsnaes, a Danish artist born in 1980 and renowned for his participatory performances, explores power dynamics and the transformation of “I” into “WE”.

In the collective ” WE” that Falsnaes creates through his performances, it’s a matter of putting oneself on pause. In theBicolore exhibition space, a selection of graffiti from the WRITERS UNITED AGAINST THE GREY series features the names of graffiti artists, a declaration of self (“I’m here”), but at the same time, the mass of names/declarations blends into large-scale collective murals, where each name becomes small parts of a whole.

During the opening, Christian Falsnaes will offer visitors an immersive, collaborative experience at 7.30pm. Each participant will contribute a performance to the final work. This performance will be filmed and become themain work in the exhibition MOI!

Then, at 9pm, the Maison du Danemark will host a cocktail reception with a DJ set by NOVA soundsystem.

FREE REGISTRATION

The exhibition is part of the I-LAB project, in which Le Bicolore in Paris and the Randers Art Museum, based on international contemporary art, explore the concept of identity.
