One Irish artist is gathering voices and memorabilia of the nearly forgotten Tuam Sugar Factory, which shaped the Galway town for decades, as part of a project to bring back to life the stories of the people, families and businesses connected to it.

Tuam Sugar Factory opened in 1934 and for over 50 years was the heart of the town, shaping the lives of hundreds of people.
