Specialising in flowers, homeware, gifts and events, Knights’ new store Bud & Bay opens on 67. Eversley Road in Sketty, Swansea from Wednesday the 14th August.
Adam Knights started Bud & Bay as an online business in 2023. The shop on Eversley Road will be a florist, general store and event planning service.
Knights has relocated to Wales in the last 12 months. Prior to this, he lived in London for almost 20 years and worked as a general manager for The Urban Flower Firm (TUFF) and also in the visual arts sector.
With a keen eye for good design, Adam is passionate about interiors, art and fashion and a love of nature and colour. His designs have won him contracts with clients such as Rolex and The British Fashion Council.
Speaking about his new life in Wales and the opening of Bud & Bay, Adam Knights said:
“I am so proud to call Wales my home and am very excited for the opening of Bud & Bay. Sketty is such a vibrant, spirited suburb of Swansea with some fantastic small businesses that are part of the community.
“Bud & Bay will be a welcoming place where people can pick up beautiful things for their home or for gifts, treat themselves or someone special to flowers or get support with organising unique events.”
Bud & Bay will stock an array of homeware and flowers. From a bouquet for a friend to a small gift for a loved one right through to party favours and large event styling, the shop and online store cater for all occasions.
Bud & Bay will also stock beautiful handmade cards and ceramics from local makers in Wales. Larger vases, candles and home accessories are sourced from in and around Europe.
To celebrate the opening of the store, Adam will be hosting a preview night throughout August and September
