Limerick-based Finnish artist shares new haunting track

A LIMERICK based singer-songwriter has released a haunting new single.
Jenny Räisänen, a Finnish artist based in the Treaty City, has released a new single titled The Rain Is Not Far.
In her new song, Jenny combines acoustic and electronic instruments, offering a simultaneously beautiful, haunting and powerful new track.
The artist bends the boundaries with an emotional indie pop style, and her strength lays in vocal interpretation.
In Jenny’s music, you can find elements of folk, rock, as well as soul and blues.
In Autumn 2022, she graduated with an MA in Songwriting from UL’s Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.

For about 20 years, Jenny has written and performed music in Finnish. In November 2023, she released her solo debut album in English, titled Tell Me The Story Again.
“She moulds the songs in ways where you feel like you’re almost involved in its construction. It is light as a feather, yet feels heavier than a sword. It is true that the pen is mightier in this case, for feelings like this only come from the heart,” commented London-based webzine, Lost In The Manor.
