This weekend is the last opportunity to visit local artists’ studios as part of an annual initiative.
North Yorkshire Open Studios provides an opportunity for artists to meet people and promote their work directly to the public.
The event takes place across the first two weekends in June, from 10-5pm, which means it ends tomorrow and Sunday (June 8 and 9).
The event, which is in its 17th year, features work by 170 artists across the county. For many it is a valuable chance to sell their work.

In Harrogate eight artists are taking part, forming an art trail of their own. Most are within walking distance of the town.
