ISHAN is the latest signing to UNIFIED Artist Management (UAM), the artist management arm of UNIFIED Music Group.
Announced today (Aug. 29), the Melbourne-based singer and songwriter joins a roster that includes Dan Sultan, Jack River, Vance Joy, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Boy & Bear and Ocean Alley.
ISHAN will be co-managed by Jaddan Comerford, founder and CEO of UNIFIED Music
Group, alongside Nick Lynagh, who also comes on board.
The 21-year-old artist cut his teeth busking, then took his performances — and talents — to a global audience via social channels.
Recently, he sold out his first headline show at The Workers Club in Melbourne, and performed at the All About Music Conference in India, which attracted 3,500 delegates.
“ISHAN has the right mix of talent, work ethic and determination, and will only grow and thrive in the UNIFIED ecosystem,” comments Lynagh.
“He’s just out there and getting it done, and it is exciting to be working with such a talented artist who is creating his own unique path to success.”
The signing is announced ahead of BIGSOUND 2024, where ISHAN will showcase to the industry and perform his new single “Make Up Moves,” the followup to his 2024 breakout single “My Mouth (la la la),” which has captured more 15 million views on Instagram and TikTok and upwards of than 6 million global streams.

In Lynagh, UAM recruits an experienced artist manager, more recently serving as general manager of Mirror Music Group, where he managed such talent as Gang Of Youths, Middle Kids and Brad Cox.
Through a new partnership with the independent music company, Lynagh will continue as director of Habit Music which, in addition to artist management services, has handed PR campaigns for the likes of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Gang Of Youths, The Strokes and The Kooks.
Lynagh will bring artists into the fold, including country artist Brad Cox, who he co-manages with Mirror Music Group. Cox is already a member of the UNIFIED family via booking agency Lonely Lands Agency (LLA).
“When Jaddan first approached me to co-manage ISHAN, I immediately recognised the potential,” he comments, “and it just made sense to open up a wider conversation about working together more broadly. I greatly admire the business Jaddan and his team have created, and it’s exciting to now be able to tap into UNIFIED’s infrastructure and talented team to take things further.”
ISHAN has existing arrangements with LLA, UNIFIED Music Group’s Community Music and The Annex.
“It’s such a key time for emerging Australian artists,” adds Ash Hills, GM of UNIFIED Artist Management ANZ, “so for UAM to have both ISHAN and Nick on board is super exciting. UAM is committed to signing and developing Australian artists, and helping them build their careers on local and international stages.”
ISHAN will showcase at BIGSOUND as part of the UNIFIED Music Group Showcase on Thursday, Sept. 5, alongside Stand Atlantic, Cap Carter, Azure Ryder and Vinnie Brigante.
