ILLIT was honoured with the ‘Best New Artist (K-Pop)’ award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, held on Monday night (March 17) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This marks their first U.S. award win, less than a year after their record-breaking debut, solidifying their status as a rising force in the global music industry.

Further demonstrating their meteoric rise, ILLIT was also nominated in two additional categories— ‘K-Pop Song of the Year’ and ‘K-Pop Dance Challenge’—for their hit single Magnetic, the lead track from their debut album, SUPER REAL ME. Their impressive win at the iHeartRadio Music Awards follows previous achievements, including a nomination for ‘Best Asia Act’ at the 2024 MTV EMAs, where they were the only K-pop artists recognized, and a nomination for ‘Top Global K-Pop Song’ at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.
Since their debut, ILLIT has made a significant impact on global music charts. Magnetic became the first-ever K-pop debut track to enter both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100 charts. Their success continued with their second mini-album, I’LL LIKE YOU, which debuted at No. 94 on the Billboard 200, marking their second consecutive entry on the chart.
Most recently, ILLIT released a digital single, Almond Chocolate, in both Japanese and Korean versions. The track has been well-received, showcasing the group’s sweet and lovable charm while highlighting their remarkable musical growth.
