Good morning, Toronto. I slept in until 1 PM because we were playing Mario Party until 4 AM.

Singer-songwriter and model Charlotte Lawrence kindly captured a day in her life through a series of photographs shared with following her on show day in Toronto.

Charlotte discovered a love for the piano as a young child, the guitar as a teenager, and now, at 23, she just wrapped up a month-long tour opening for popstar Madison Beer. Starting in Minneapolis and singing her way through Chicago, Montreal, and Boston among other major cities, Charlotte played 15 shows and culminated with a spectacular performance at Radio City Music Hall.

The young artist’s first EP, “’Young,” was released in 2017, chalking up millions of streams. During the COVID years, she further developed her persona from her bedroom in Los Angeles, writing and experimenting with her sound. Charlotte has also worked closely with record producer Andrew Watt and songwriter Ali Tamposi. Her latest single, “How It Ends,” was released in April 2024, and she will also be making her acting debut in the drama TV series Bad Monkey releasing in August.

Charlotte’s photo diary captures everything from the glamorous reality of a musician to the simple pleasure of a Chipotle burrito.

Role out of bed straight into soundcheck. I make sure everything is dialed in.
An empty stage soon to be filled.
Makeup time! This makeup bag may be the only thing I have organized, and I’m so grateful for that. I start my makeup an hour or more before I go on just in case, and it gives us time for photos.
I had a mini panic about my outfit, but we figured it out. So messy lol.
Shoes on and ready to go with time to spare (COMFORTABLE SHOW SHOES ARE MY SAVING GRACE).
Talk about tips and tricks— a good team is all you need, and these girls were why anything got done ever. Shout out Meghan and Muriel, my angels.
The boys: Dan, Eli, and Will. I’m so lucky that they’re so talented and kind and just wonderful.
Zach!!! He is the reason why we can hear perfectly!! Talented as shit and all of our hero’s.
In-ears are in, and we’re ready to go. My pre-show ritual is having my tour manager check my pack 100 times to make sure it’s set correctly, drinking water, and high-fiving every person on the team.
On stage!!! Getting a bracelet from a fan. Crying with gratitude! I wanna do this forever. Photographed by Muriel Knudson
Just finished!!! It went amazing.
Freshly showered and ready for my 11 PM meal (lol).
Bow down to Chipotle.
A drawing I drew of my band on stage on a Post-It.
Food coma, time for sleep. Love you Flaunt. Thanks for coming along.
