Artist Adam J Connors, Bray.

Bray artist Adam Connors, who plies his trade and creates all of his own work at Unit 7, Goldsmith Terrace, on Bray’s Quinnsborough Road, has announced a new exhibition which will open at his studio on Saturday, July 27, at 5pm, and promises to be as unique and exhilarating as his last celebrated work.

‘Chaos to Order’ is the title of his new collection of large-scale paintings, and follows the success of last year’s ‘Turbulence’. While much of Adam’s art has been inspired by Bray landmarks, he tends more towards the abstract, with his latest exhibition blending ideas of geometry, literature and Irish mythology with vibrant colours and contrasting tones. Adam uses ‘alcohol ink’ to create the desired effect, alcohol evaporating faster than water to leave specific patterns which, when coated with resin, gives the finished product a “chaotic” appearance.
