Award-winning performance artist Lou Barnell will be presenting Song Shelter / Bone Ballad at 7pm on Saturday, March 14, at Piel View House in Barrow Park.
The performance will feature ice sculptures embedded with touch and movement sensors.
Attendees are encouraged to bring waterproofs due to the melting ice, and writers are invited to bring samples of their work to potentially contribute to the show.
Ms Barnell’s work explores science fiction and dreams, creating immersive environments she calls ‘live dreams’.
An Oram Award winner, this recognition is granted to women who are innovators in the fields of music, sound and related tech.
Tickets for the concert are priced at £5 and can be purchased through Eventbrite.
