New Delhi: Little minds are often the most creative and this little boy from Ghana has proved that. Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah is a 1 year and 152 days old boy from Ghana who has been recognized as the world’s youngest male artist by the Guinness World Records. The boy was officially recognised by the records agency on Monday.
Ghana boy breaks world record
This happened after the boy participated in a professional exhibition at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra. He was able to sell nine out of ten paintings, including one commissioned by Ghana’s First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, who also attended the exhibition.
BBC reported that the boy has sold 15 paintings already and is now gearing up for an auction too. Reports have said that Ace-Liam started on the artistic path pretty early in life and her mother, who is herself an artist too, noticed how her son was inclined towards painting when he was just six months old.
Liam’s mother said that when he was beginning to crawl, she spread out a canvas and put some paint on it to keep him busy. The baby was able to spread the paint on the whole canvas and created his first masterpiece called ‘The Crawl’.

According to the Guinness World Records, his mother said that since he began talking, the toddler has shown a keen interest in painting. According to Ms. Chantelle, his paintings aren’t meant to convey specific messages but reflect his feelings and observations of his surroundings. His painting sessions are spontaneous; he chooses the canvas size and colors and then begins to paint, sometimes for just a few minutes and sometimes for longer, depending on his mood. When he is satisfied with his painting, he declares, “Mama finish.”
