Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his first-ever roadshow in Mangaluru, Karnataka. The event was attended by thousands of his supporters. One such supporter got the opportunity to display PM Modi his artwork at the event.
Kiran, an amateur painter from Mangaluru, had his wish fulfilled during the Prime Miniter’s roadshow in the city. He was standing to the side of Mahatma Gandhi Road, carrying the oil painting artwork of the Prime Minister, among a crowd of thousands. When the PM’s vehicle came closer to the young painter’s side, he held up his artwork, in hopes of showing it to him. Fortunately, he was able to get the Prime Minister’s attention, who reportedly, even praised Kiran for his art. PM Modi then asked his SPG commando to bring the painting to him, as per reports.
Kiran is a young painter from Thokottu in Mangaluru. When he came to know about PM Modi’s roadshow in the city, he decided to use his skills on the BJP leader’s oil painting portrait and present it to him. The portrait was made on a 20×24-sized canvas. Talking to News18, Kiran expressed his joy at getting recognised by the PM himself.
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on his first roadshow in the city of Mangaluru. To welcome the Prime Minister, the public greeted him with flower petals. The event commenced at approximately 7.45 pm, from Lady Hill. It passed through the areas of Lalbagh, Ballalbagh and PVS Circle, ending at Navbharat Circle, at around 8.45 pm. The Prime Minister arrived for the event from Mysuru at 7 pm.
