An international art fair has returned to London.

The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park, offering contemporary artwork starting from just £100, returns to Evolution London from March 4–8, 2026, promising a vibrant celebration of creativity and accessibility.

Founded in 1999 with a vision to democratise art and make it accessible to all, the fair now operates in 16 cities worldwide and attracts nearly 280,000 visitors each year.

Writing in the fair guide, Hugo Barclay, UK Fair Director, said: “It feels great to be back in beautiful Battersea Park for what promises to be an amazing fair.

“Our community of 115 galleries and thousands of artists have been busy getting ready for 2026, from meticulous hours creating new work you’ll find across the fair to the steadfast logistics needed to bring them from every corner of the globe here to London.”

What’s on at the fair

The 2026 edition will feature 115 exhibiting galleries, more than 900 artists, and thousands of original contemporary artworks spanning painting, sculpture, photography, prints, and mixed media.

A special highlight at the entrance will be Springtime, a commissioned installation by artist duo Relton Marine.

Two six-foot canvases will welcome guests to the main atrium, while visitors are encouraged to add their own mark to the outlined drawings on the reverse.

Timed to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8, an upstairs exhibition will celebrate the creativity of female artists from around the world.

Other curated displays will include Fresh Perspectives, highlighting debut artists, and Finds Under £500, designed to help new collectors start their journey with affordable pieces.

For younger visitors and families, children under 16 can enter the fair free of charge (booking required).

New features for 2026

Debuting in Spring 2026, the fair will introduce Artists’ Audio Stories—an interactive digital guide featuring audio clips from 22 artists.

The guide, available for £3, works offline and requires no app after download, offering visitors a new way to explore the art on display.

Admission and events

A full programme of events will run throughout the fair.

Art After Dark Lates will take place on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6, with late-night admission from 5pm–9pm (18+ only).

On Thursday and Friday evening, a collaborative painting workshop will be hosted by the Art-Alive Arts Trust.

Titled Who I Am, the workshop celebrates identity and womanhood through creative expression.

Weekend Family Mornings will run from 10am–12pm on Saturday and Sunday, and include activity packs, face painting, a giant colour-in wall, and hands-on workshops running until 3pm.
