The Fordingbridge Art Club event showcases oils, acrylics, watercolours, pencil sketches, pastels and mixed media artworks until 4pm on Saturday, November 1.

The artwork spans a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, seascapes, portraits, pets, still lifes, flowers and abstracts.

The club encourages art enthusiasts to attend and engage with the artists, whether they are interested in purchasing or simply admiring the pieces.

The exhibition also presents an opportunity for attendees to discuss joining the art club, which welcomes all levels, from beginners to professionals.

Pete Gilbert, a New Forest artist, judged the artwork and awarded prizes.

The Augustus John Trophy for best in show was awarded to Willard Balthazar.

Valerie Jenkins took home the Stephen Martin Trophy for the best oil painting, while Donna Scott earned the Betty Wasket Salver for the best acrylic painting.

The Cottage Loaf Rose Bowl for best mixed media painting went to Felicity Singleton.

The best watercolour painting, awarded the Watercolour Rose Bowl, was created by Belinda Vize and Judy Wheaton claimed The Caddy for the best other media.

The Lucinda Nicholas Trophy for the best school entry was awarded to Alice Shearer.
