Philotechnic Transformations is an indoor art exhibition curated by the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and Trenton Community A-TEAM. The exhibit spotlights the positive effect that creating art can have on lives. Featured in the exhibit are works from artists who participate in the Trenton Community A-TEAM and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen’s arts program. Each piece represents a broad palette of concepts, emotions and inspirations and offers the viewer a glimpse into the individual artist’s life and creative process. Self-expression is fundamental to personal progress and the artists in this exhibit mirror that sentiment in their daily lives.

Grounds For Sculpture and TASK: Since 2022 artists from the arts program have participated in high level art classes at GFS at no cost. This program has given space for the artists to develop their technical skills and creative expression.

About TASK & TCAT: For many years, the creative arts programs at TASK have been a connection point for people, enriching lives through visual, written and performing arts. The weekly arts sessions serve as a vital outlet for self-expression. TASK partners every Tuesday with the Trenton Community A-TEAM providing a space and materials for individuals to create and connect. TCAT supports, develops and promotes self- taught, local artists because art can be transformative by reframing the artist’s connectedness to self and others and by enhancing community pride.
