Enchanting, a former Gucci Mane artist from Fort Worth, Texas, is currently on life support, according to her sister, who notified the artist’s fans on Monday (June 10) via Facebook.
The cause for life support is unknown at this time. Several local artists have shared prayer requests for Enchanting. Gucci Mane or his 1017 record label has not commented on the news yet.
After several social media outlets attempted to declare that the rap star had passed away, Enchanting’s sister, known as Kayy Jayy, set the record straight with the following message on her Facebook account, it reads:
“I AM NOT A CELEBRITY , iWill CURSE YOU SMOOTH TF OUT !!! like I said STOP POSTING FALSE INFORMATION, Yall dk shit about shit . Hell most you mf don’t even know her real name to even start collecting info! Sit back & wait just like we ( the family ) are !!! As of now SHE’S IN ICU , She’s Fighting & She’s Fighting Hard !!!! Don’t Give Up On Her Just Yet!!!”
Before the clarification, Kayy Jayy shared several posts with photos of the “No Luv” hitmaker and emotional messages, including referrals from the artist’s family members.
“Sister,” she wrote with a broken heart emoji. “Wtf ima tell my son if u dont shake back ? U CANT DO this !! You got this i love you KEEP PRAYIN FOR MY BABY MAN.”
In her follow up post, Kayy Jayy wrote, “Then What ? …… Bitch Wake Up So We Can Go Get Our Hair Done Or Sumn… You Got Sessions Lined Up Sis For This Tapee Fina Drop. I Love You i Love you, I Love You !!!!!”
Fans and former collaborators have flooded the artist’s social media accounts with prayers. She is 26 years old. Enchanting signed with Gucci Mane’s New 1017 label in 2020. She left the label in 2023 after appearing on three compilation albums. She released her last album, Luv Scarred/No Luv, in 2023 via 1017 Global Music/Atlantic Records.
