The Art House in Bella Coola is getting ready to host a retrospective show starting Sept. 5.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m., the exhibition will showcase the works of local artist Barb Krimmer.
Krimmer’s show titled simply “Barb Krimmer A Retrospective” will be up until Sept. 30 at the Art House, which is located at 1961 Highway 20.
Krimmer has spent her life creating beautiful things, from pen and ink drawings to mosaics – she has been creating art most of her life.
Despite being deemed legally blind in 2022, Krimmer continued to create, switching to alcohol ink art.
“No matter what comes next Barb will always find a way to express herself through art,” states the artists’ bio for the show.
The exhibit is made possible through the Bella Coola Valley Arts Council.
