Thomas lives in Cookeville, Tennessee, and his brain notices everything. His mother, Jennifer, says she thinks it is part of his autism that he notices minutia. During the pandemic, the mother and son team combined Thomas’ assiduousness and creativity to make miniature dioramas of their small town. Thomas and his mom have created enough dioramas to hold their first art show. Jennifer says, “You never know what you can do until you try, and I didn’t know what Thomas can do.”
