Gunma Museum of Art, Tatebayashi
This exhibition focuses on how artworks are created by combining diverse elements, similar to composing a symphony. It explores art’s expression and origins through a “collection” perspective, showcasing various pieces from the museum’s collection. It showcases paintings made by gathering colorful patterns and shapes, three-dimensional artworks composed of similar motifs, narrative expressions in which many motifs are collected to tell a story, artworks that gather various materials, and fiber art creations composed of collected fiber materials.
