Venice Family Clinic celebrated the 45th Annual Venice Family Clinic Art Walk + Auction. Artists, collectors, celebrities, and clinic supporters gathered to honor the growth of the LA arts scene and the clinic’s impact on the community.
This year’s event featured a gallery showcasing works from over 150 LA-based artists, including Signature Artist Fred Eversley, Ed Ruscha, Larry Bell, Ed Moses, Arthur Jafa, Alison Saar, Kenny Scharf, Jordan Wolfson, Patrisse Cullors, Sayre Gomez, and Paul Mpagi Sepuya. Proceeds from the art sales will benefit Venice Family Clinic.
The Art Walk + Auction, created in 1979 by local volunteers and artists, aimed to prevent the clinic’s closure, fostering a culture that blends health care and art. The theme for this year’s event, History, Health, and Home, highlighted the importance of community and a sense of home in individual well-being. Venice Family Clinic, a non-profit community health center, provides quality health care to over 45,000 people across West LA, regardless of income, insurance, or immigration status.
