MADURAI: Agrofood Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Miracletree Life Science are jointly organizing palm leaf exhibition at Agro Food Trade Centre in Sikkandar Chavadi in Madurai from May 25th to May 29th 2024.
The theme of this expo is ‘Let Us Revive Palmyra Treasure’ and it is giving an opportunity to see, explore and enjoy the the marvellous palm leaves, the organisers said. Entry is free for the visitors and the timings are from 11 am to 7 pm.
As an additional feature, this exhibition is also having a ‘Panai Olai Chithiram Workshop’ as a five days course where painting and engraving training was provided by the professional craftsmen with a fee of Rs.2,500 for the five days inclusive of lunch and evening tea for five days. Mr.S.Rethinavelu, president, Agro Food Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Madurai, has informed today that ‘Kalaimamani’ Prof.Dr.G.Gnanasambandham was mesmerized by the Palmyra Leaf art pictures displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition and sale is till Wednesday May 29th 2024 with free entry, he added.
