Publicis Wall Gallery (PWG) is located in the reception area of the Shiga office of Publicis Grupe Japan, which includes Beacon Communications, MSL Japan, Saatchi & Saatchi Tokyo, and other companies. The gallery is based on the concept of ” 1month, 1artist, 1exhibition, 1workshop”, with one artist (or a group of artists) on display every month, and a related workshop by the same artist once a month during the exhibition period.
The 20th exhibition will feature the photography of Masashi Asada. Known for winning the 34th Kimura Ihei Award with the 2008 photo book “Asadake,” Asada has since showcased their work extensively, including large-scale solo exhibitions in recent years. This exhibit will unveil an unpublished series captured by Asada over 12 years with a compact camera, where only one photo was taken daily. These images, taken purely for personal reflection rather than professional or public purposes, offer viewers a glimpse into the gentle ambiance surrounding Asada and their unwavering passion for photography, akin to that of an ever-devoted person.
