The free-to-attend festival is funded by Arts Council England.
Andrea Francis, festival director, said it was a “tremendous success”.
She said: “The vibrant energy and creativity on display throughout the event were nothing short of inspiring.
“Festival-goers embraced the diverse range of performances and installations, making the most of every moment.”
She added that the torchlit trail on Saturday had a “magical atmosphere” and despite bad weather on Sunday they were able to successfully readjust the event’s schedule.
Councillor Andy Martin, portfolio holder for culture at BCP Council, said: “This festival is a celebration of the rich cultural tapestry that defines Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.”
