A set of pictures is widely shared on social media in which a child can be seen making a sand art of cricketer Virat Kohli. In one photo, he is shaping the statue with his hands, while in another, he is seen working on the sculpture with a brush.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above pictures and found them to be AI-generated.
At first glance, we noticed several discrepancies in the picture.
We noticed that the flag in one of the pictures is distorted, whereas, in the other picture sports is written as ”SPOOT’ in the picture on the top right.
Taking a cue from the above observations, on putting all four pictures individually through Hive Moderation — a tool that detects AI-generated content, we found that the set of images in question was 100% AI-generated.
Hence, with the above findings, it can be concluded that the picture in question is AI-generated.
