Terrifier’s Art the Clown has become a horror legend this past decade. His trilogy thus far has been one of the goriest in recent memory, and the Damien Leone-created slasher brand will soon be ending with Terrifier 4. Leone is currently writing the film, but a ton of pop culture-centric companies have been passing the time with killer Art collectibles. Now Mezco Toyz is joining the demented fun with their new Terrifier figure.
A part of Mezco’s nostalgic 5 Points toy line, their latest 3.75-inch scale figure is Art the Clown. This now-iconic psycho is seen in his standard black-and-white clown costume. However, you can’t have an Art figure without a weapon, and Mezco has armed this killer jester with a deadly bull whip of torture. The Little Pale Girl is also included in this set. Terrifier now joins Batman (1989), Batman: The Animated Series, and Christmas Vacation in Mezco’s 5 Points collection.
Art the Clown Has Become the New Freddy Krueger
Despite being a bloodthirsty killer, Art the Clown has been on everything from T-shirts to mugs to scary Halloween animatronics. The slasher villain has also been the center of his very own Funko Pop collection. This has seen Art in many different bloody forms, but has also highlighted other characters like The Little Pale Girl and Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera), Terrifier’s beloved final girl. Trick or Treat Studios and NECA have also started releasing their own versions of Terrifier’s memorable roster of characters.
As for what Terrifier 4 will be about, there’s little plot-wise known at this time. We do know that Art is human again after his last couple of supernatural outings. Fans will also finally see Art’s origin story on screen. David Howard Thornton has played the villain for the last three films, so it’ll be exciting to see what this expressive actor brings to that kind of meaty material. LaVera will be returning for the sequel as well for one final battle with Art the Clown.
When Does ‘Terrifier 4’ Release?
Terrifier 4 doesn’t have a release date or window yet. However, it’s a safe bet horror fans will see it in theaters sometime in 2026. Preferably during the Halloween season. For now, Terrifier and Terrifier 2 are currently streaming on Tubi for free, while Terrifier 3 is on ScreamBox. All three films are also readily available on Blu-ray. Before your next unrated marathon, you can view Mezco Toyz’ entire 5 Points figure collection on their website.
