Posters Cleveland Art

Spruce up your walls with Cleveland-inspired, locally made prints and posters from these artists. By Julia Lombardo

Prints and posters are an easy and accessible medium for all forms of art, no matter how fun, simplistic, stylish or intricate they may be. They also make for an efficient way to accent an otherwise bare room, and perhaps elevate an otherwise bland outlook on life.

For some artists, they’re even a much-needed medium for expression.

“My catalyst was a severe health crisis that kind of flipped my world upside down,” says Jason Toth of JToth Art. “I was confined to my bed. And It was around autumn, so everything was just gray. I started creating pieces to take me out of the world that I was existing in, into a world that I wanted to be in. I was impressing myself, and I’ve gotten an incredible amount of validation.”

Support the work of Northeast Ohio artists turning their ideas into artwork, starting with these five print and poster-makers.
