Mangaluru: A video of Prime Minister Modi appreciating a sketch drawn by a young girl went viral recently. The Prime Minister, who was in the city conducting a roadshow for the BJP candidate, noticed the sketch drawn by the girl and received it through the SPG.
A similar scene unfolded during Sunday’s roadshow, where Modi, amidst his procession, noticed a sketch drawn by Kiran, an artist from Thokkottu. He immediately informed his SPG commandos to retrieve the piece of art. The Prime Minister then personally appreciated the drawing. The video of the incident has gone viral.
Kiran was elated that a leader like Modi appreciated his work. He had been waiting for over two hours at Kodiyal Bail to present the sketch of Modi that he had drawn himself. It took him about two days to complete the 20×24 inch oil painting of Modi. Kiran expressed immense joy that Modi himself appreciated and accepted the painting.
