An Irish artist said it feels “surreal” to have his drawing feature on the cover art for Lil Nas X’s new single.

Aaron Fahy, from Co Waterford, created the crayon-inspired artwork for Where Do We Go Now from his bedroom.

The drawing shows Lil Nas X standing in a green field and holding hands with his younger self.

Aaron said it feels surreal to see his work on the single’s cover art.

In an Instagram post, he said: “It feels incredibly surreal. Thank you to Lil Nas X for always supporting my work, I’m still in shock!”

He added: “It’s been so overwhelming and heartwarming. I honestly cannot thank you enough. It still feels really surreal now that it’s out.

“I made it in my bedroom in Ireland and it’s being seen all over the world which is mindblowing! I promise I’ll stop yapping about it after today but I’m just so hyped right now.

“Huge huge love to Lil Nas X for always sharing my stuff and showing love. 2024 is off to a crazy start and we’re only getting started.”
