The life drawing class with Julie Arnall will take place on Wednesday, October 16, while Philip Richardson will discuss Post-Impressionism on Wednesday, November 20.
Both events will take place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Foakes Hall in Great Dunmow.
Entry is £1 for members and £5 for non-members.
Materials required for the life drawing class include A3 cartridge paper or a sketchbook, charcoal or a charcoal pencil, or a soft pencil like a 4B or 6B.
The Post-Impressionism talk will teach attendees about the predominately French art movement which developed roughly between 1886 and 1905, from the last Impressionist exhibition to the birth of Fauvism.
Post-Impressionism emerged as a reaction against the Impressionists’ concerns for the naturalistic depiction of light and colour.
