LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) – The Children’s Museum of La Crosse is bringing art to life.

“Draw Alive” is a new program that brings technology and creativity together.

Students can choose from different animal outlines to color and then watch them come alive on a screen through QR codes.

There are 13 different categories ranging from ocean creatures to barnyard animals.

Ellen Palmer with the children’s museum says the exhibit captures everything the children’s museum stands for, which is giving kids new experiences.

“Most probably haven’t seen a shark or a stingray, but they are able to see those things when we do an ocean theme of ‘Draw Alive’, putting their own twist on things,” Palmer said.

The exhibit is open to the public and will be making a permanent stay.
