Creative Monklands residents are invited along to visual arts classes held at Airdrie’s Sir John Wilson town hall when they make their return next week.
Art Attack classes for seven-to-12-year-olds take place on Thursdays from 5pm to 6.30pm, with adult drawing and painting sessions on Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm.
A spokesperson for the classes said: “All activity is skills-based but allows for individual creative freedom.

“Adults and children of all abilities are welcome to our classes, which are run in a relaxed and informal setting.”
The Art Attack sessions offer “a wide range of arts activities, including drawing, painting, clay modelling, sculpture making, printmaking and more”.
Children can bring along a snack and must wear “messy clothes”, with the classes priced £6 per session.
The adult drawing and painting classes are tutor-led, skills-based and suitable for complete beginners and/or those with more experience.
Activity is mainly drawing and painting-based, “using a range of materials, and focusing on a variety of subject matters”.
The classes are for anyone aged 16-plus and cost £7 and £6 for concessions.
