Sharjah 24: Ali Murad, senior coordinator at the Sharjah Art Foundation, explained that the exhibition “Drawing Time: Duets” comes within the foundation’s summer programme, and is held in Gallery 4 of Al Mureijah Art Spaces.
He announced that the exhibition is considered a research project that explores the broad scope of drawing and its possibilities as an artistic practice with historical roots, from the standpoint of an in-depth study of new and historical objects within the Sharjah Art Foundation’s collections.
He added, in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that 15 artists from different generations are creating a map vibrant with colour and texture, and their works are displayed in various mediums such as paper, wood, sound and video, and the public can visit the exhibition until next August 4.
